I never really tried it mostly because I didn't care. A couple weeks ago a couple people tried it and they said nothing happened which was expected.

I didn't fall for the trick - I did it out of my own volition.

I did what was supposed to be done in the bathroom and nothing happened.

I have never fallen for that, nor would I ever. Partly because I just don't care about those ridiculous sayings!

I have to say, the whole thing is ridiculous. Unless someone can prove that such an incantation would summon a murderer, I have no reason to be afraid. However, I still wouldn't do it, because someone would probably jump out and scare the living crap out of me.

Sorry for the double post, but oops, spelling fail . Also, I don't think anyone could prove it, it seems quite impossible.

I tried it once when I was young, all you see is a remnant of light in the back of your eye. I suppose if I was really expecting to see a ghost woman in the mirror my brain might interpret that light as such.

Very true, Mage. Even at 13, I swear I see silhouettes of people in my peripheral vision that aren't there.
