Put the stupidest laws you know here:

In New York, it's illegal to greet someone by putting your thumb to your nose and wiggling your fingers.

In California, it's illegal to set a mousetrap without a hunting license.

In New York, there is a $20 fine for flirting.

Not really a specific law, but as part of the Americans with Disabilities Act businesses are required to post information in Braille. One that I noticed, and heard mentioned on TV a while back as well, is that the drive-up ATMs and often drive-up pharmacy windows have instructions in Braille. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to be able to see in order to drive a motor vehicle? Someone really didn't give that one much thought imho...

I think its in Sweden you can't mow your lawn dressed like Elvis. And anyway I thenk the most stupidest law is the Death Penalty.

Still a silly law in England where boys have to practice archery every day. No one does, and very few people have even heard of this law, so I have no idea why the government haven't got rid of it yet.

Oh man california is teh worste lol,

It is a misdemeanor to shoot at any kind of game from a moving vehicle, unless the target is a whale.

In Chico, the law says that anybody who detonates a nuclear device within the city limits is liable to a fine of $500

In Pacific Grove, âmolestingâ butterflies can result in a $500 fine
