I usually get XP on this game by going randomly through the rooms and if you want a big amount of XP, try defeating Wooly over and over but then the game wouldn't be so funny nevertheless you can level up fast.
well... first of all level up the abilitys that make you level up faster. then you can just defeat wooly over and over again. oh and btw. if you dont spend your xp wisely (like i did) then you cant even max out all your stats so in order to get max leveling up the fast leveling abilitys is a must
[/i] The area 1 ( top left room in the clouds ) is the room that gives you the most xp . In this room you will find [/b]zippers, chasers, hoppers, spikers and some tanks[b] . They give you 100 xp , so if you get in and out you can get some xp quickier than in other rooms. Thats the fastest way to get xp if you want to fight Wooly when you have maxed all the abilites [i]

I did it too and I was confused if it was a bug or not. Well, at least I got all the abilities at max. And fighting Wooly isn't that fun anymore. You kill him in less than 30 seconds and you got 5,000 XP. A good but boring way to level up.
