Now that this has shifted, I guess it doesn't hurt to change the title and let it move on. Remember that this will only be a discussion/conversation on the ranks, and possible other ranks, not a suggestion, as it quite rightfully has been pointed out we already have something on that (locked or not).
So either way, carry on. And, as it is not a suggestion, don't worry about the armorgames-theme :P
I think there is not even a problem. They're just suggesting. I think.
Oh, and yeah, it would take away AG's theme. the call of duty site has military ranks, plus there's missions (completing your profile, having some friends, etc.) I would love to see this in AG.
I like the ranks. I was learning about the medieval socity in history and their's is really accurate. the only thing that could be higher then the king would be the pope.
The site is called Armor Games so it has to have ranks about medieval, Kings, and squires and all that stuff.
I don't think the name "armor" is what gives the site a medieval theme, the theme is just semi-medieval because that's what was chosen. Armor could refer to much more than that.
Did you know we have Kevlar vests(armor), Tanks with armor, planes with armors, limos with armor?
Yes, I do know that, I do live in this time period. However, as Matrix said, it used to be Games of Gondor. Also if you were look at the AG logo the armor used is medieval. :P Whilst Armor can be much more, when the word armor is used, first thing in my mind is a medieval version.
