i would probably make an rpgg with a really deep story and a really interesting relationship between the characters. id also put some mystery in that game
Basically you'd like to compete with Call of Duty and Battlefield (and Crysis 2), along with other games like Section 8 and Halo? We all like shooter games, and there are things we wanna change - doesn't mean you should make one though.
For me, I'd like to make a strategy game, the Age Series is coming back as an MMORTS, and StarCraft II is pretty much the ONLY Triple-A RTS nowadays. Variety in this matter would help, significantly. It was when consoles were introduced in a majorly fashion that RTS's fell... why? Consoles can't properly play RTS's. Why? Keyboards are better ask any intelligent and preferably unbiased theorycrafter and / or pro RTS player.
You would wake up in a basement. Walk outside and be givin a bowie knife. then u would have to throw it at the flying cupcakes of doom. you would then take a cupcakes jetpack and fly to paris where godzilla is eating all the crumpets. And then u have to blow up china to find the secret gold scissors of the long lost tribe of Tempogzor.
I will make an RTS game because right now there aren't many good RTS games. Also I have played all the Command & Conquer games and those games inspired me into the world of RTS.
I'm actually going to school to learn how to program, with a focus on simulations/video games. And hopefully I'll have the chance to create a game with a similar idea to Grand Theft Auto, except with more possibilities. Something with a completely destructible world and an incredibly large amount of things the player can do.
a game that would be like death race where you can customize and buy new cars and customize and upgrade your guns/armor with long and short tracks with varying degrees of map complexity and AI smarts (I.E. some AI in the race will be dumb as dirt and others will not) doesn't matter if you don't win or are destroyed you gain money either way and pay for ammo and repairs
