I wasn't sure where else to post this, and I've tried a number of things. However, most of my problems seem to be occurring here on ArmorGames.
(I added all the games here in search of ones that did work... as you can see, they over-overwhelmingly do not work.)
When I go to play a game (Examples: Corporation Inc, SteamBirds, High Tea, Balloon Town, Slice Fortress Defense 2, Rebuild), it sometimes does not load at all. Or it will load and then proceed to stay a one colored screen. It's not just black or white, but seems to depend on the game's specific backgrounds. Some games do work however, which is confusing (Examples: Civilizations Wars, Kingdom Crushers, Age of Defense 3, Dynasty War).
I'm using Windows XP and FireFox is my browser of choice, though the problem persists in Internet Explorer.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both flash and shockwave, as well as Java for extra precaution. My FireFox is the newest version. I have cleared cache, cookies, history, etc. I have tried running all games giving me problems in IE. I have tried disabling everything in my add-ons and plugins that were not Adobe related. I've tried going to my global settings and clearing that. Though I do have third party cookies disabled. I tried re-enabling them, but that did not seem to help. I've tried giving it Unlimited ability to put things on my computer. I've tried restarting my browser, tried restarting my computer. Nothing seems to be working.
Have you updated your flash to the latest version? I ask that because nowhere in your post you mentioned updated flash.
Also, you should try playing the games on Google Chrome. I notice on Firefox the games tend to lag/not load as fast. Internet Explorer isn't great, so it isn't a surprise the games aren't working on there.
Try updating your flash player & playing on Google Chrome.
Well, yes. I tried to imply it by saying I uninstalled and reinstalled flash. They seem to be working now however.
I think it was third party cookie allowances for future reference for anyone else. I had to restart firefox after checking the box that allowed it however.
