DICE hasn't let me down now, I can't see why they would on their main series (I'm excluding Medal of Honor in this post since I haven't played it - I'm talking about Bad Company and Original Battlefield) and they even said that with Bad Company they hadn't put in full-effort. That's great because I found Bad Company 2 well worth the money, I can't imagine what Battlefield 3 would be like.
it looks really great, and I think, multiplayer will be better then mp from Bad Company 1, but I think that singleplayer will be too similiar, like this one, from Medal of Honor or Call of Duty
It better be good. They have a lot to beat. If they actually try to beat them this time. I mean, we got Modern Warfare 3, Skyrim, Killzone 3 came out not too long ago. (Great game by the way. A little short but still amazing)
I have always liked the Battlefield series. My only problem with them is the lack of open source. There is never enough maps or mods for this series. Look at games like COD4, it has so many player maps and mods that make the game so much more enjoyable. With that said I will still buy it.

I hope DICE soon learns that player-created content is such a fantastically life-extending feature for a game. They must implement it Think about it, you don't like the M14 being 2 shot a kill at long range? Simply make a mod that makes weapons weaker, meaning you need more accuracy and more focus.

Sorry but I have to "Lol" The games of CoD have gone downhill since Modern Warfare 2, first MW2 lacked balanced gameplay and Black Ops lacked some gameplay AND technical efforts. I find both a ripoff, to be honest. Modern Warfare 3, unless they buck up and actually start working like they mean it (or if you already have that, hire different and better people) because honestly 1 game a year shouldn't halt gameplay advances. They need to have the same stuff as before (that was successful) and add more, not just add some crap, take out some crap, make some glitches, take out some glitches, done.
By the way I don't know about Skyrim or Killzone 3 so THAT IS WHY I will not comment on them
Variety is good but I have to say... CoD really isn't...
I am confused as to why DICE aided in creating Medal of Honor - an FPS that can also compete with Battlefield, but hey man, I seen some of DICE's videos about the development etc and it was very sweet to see I think the main guy of it look back at the spiritual predecessor of Battlefield 1 (my words in his opinion), wow dude. I want developers like that.
