Nah, actually there is no secret of life. Some questions just don't have an objective, confirmable and universal answer/correct reply; and frankly the secret of life is on of them.

Meaning of life? I know that. It's forty-two. (As mentioned before.)

As for the 'secret of life', I would say that the secret is to do as much as you can before you die

The secret? As in where life comes from? I can answer that: Life comes from your parents. They made you. Or, maybe the meaning of life. That, my friend, is up to you to decide.

Also, smart move on moving this to the tavern.

if by secret you mean meaning then this is my opinion: to be happy, to have fun, to be good to people, find love, make people love you, make people miss you. all those are just meant to be ways to get the first one which is to be happy. in the end doesnt matter how succesfull you really were, because i dont think anyone wants to be remembered as the reach/succesfull guy. i want people to remember who i am and to have many close friends and be happy

There is no meaning of life. No doubt you'll think i'm some kind of depressed person, but that would be stupidity of the middle order ;P
Life is what you make of it. Don't waste time puzzling it out or you'll miss out on it.
