I, for one, think gossiping is purely puerile and immature. I wonder how you can have respect for yourself while trashing others behind their back, for me it's a total lack of respect. Though I don't want to be sexist, I think it's mainly a girl thing. Everywhere I've worked, all the guys would get so mad at the girls for *****ing everyone behind their backs. I'm currently thinking about quitting my actual job just because of the girls, isn't it pathetic?
I mean, there's so much more to do in life and so much more to strive for than stupid rumor spreading about people; gossiping is a complete waste of time, but then again, that's only my opinion, and after all, I'm but a crazy, misanthrope hermit, so don't mind me.
i personally think its wrong. still, something good might happen. if someone who has good intentions will listen he might be able to help they person they were gosspping about
I think gossip is inherently unpalatable, even if I do find myself a practitioner. Most gossip is malicious. That basically says it's bad. I've also seen too many times where gossip and the secrecy of matters is more damaging than the actual rumors being bandied around.
I think its something done by rich folks and teenagers.
You're wrong. Gossip can be done by anyone who just wants to talk bad about an individual or a class of people.
I don't like gossip; at my lunch room in school I across to some teenagers and all they do is gossip about people they see in the lunch room. I mean if you don't like the person and you're willing to share with others then why not tell the person that you hate them? I see no point in that.
i find gossip is a wrong thing to do, half the time the information you get told and pass on is not close to accurate, and eventually can lead to utter catastrophic failure of the person who the gossip is about's self esteem.
