I have noticed that a couple of users post in the forum section without their profile saying that they have posted anything, it always says 0. I won't name who these couple of people are but i thought i would let you know. (need the names? just let me know)
Have they posted in the Newcomers Forum and/or Forum Games? You don't get posts or points for those two sections.
Also, it does take a bit for your posts to catch up. It's not like when you post it automatically gives you a higher posts count. I've noticed when I post it doesn't increase. It's just the server lagging, I suppose. After about 20 minutes though it does increase to the correct number.
Sorry it took me a while. Actually all the posts from these users, are only in the Forum Games thread. I didn't know that you didn't get a forum post to your credit, i only thought you didn't get any Armor Points. Thanks for your help! =D
