All my friends said if you spray Lynx on a fire, it goes mad. So I tried it and now some of our patio is charred. Who has tried this before?

Never heard of Lynx, but I'm assuming it's some sort of aerosol, likely with a flammable gas as a propellant. If so then yah, it will. I used to use WD-40 to make a homemade flamethrower when I was younger. Highly dangerous, and even more highly entertaining.

OK, for the contrary, LYNX is a spray that is very popular. It's deodorant in England, as I live in England.

guys don't make a flamethrower!!!

lol

if the flame lights the propellent it doesn't just shoot the flame outwards, it also follows the propellent back into the aerosol can and it explodes in your face causing severe burns

but ye very cool if it works XD lol

I made a flamethrower out of a can of sprayable sunscreen and a match once. It was fun. I got in trouble. But it was still fun.

When I was younger, I went to a friend's house to prepare a presentation of something and a couple of friends went there too. After we did part of the work, he told us to go to the bathroom. He got the spray deodorant and a lighter and made the fire. But he was so dumb that he made the fire in the direction where me and the other guys were. When I saw the fire, I pulled them back (I was behind them) to the door so they didn't get burned.

I've never tried that & I don't plan on trying it.

The only thing that I've done with fire similar to this is have a paint spray can and a lighter then I sprayed the can against the lighter and it was a mini-flamethrower.

Funny that this thread has come up. Very recently my friends hovercraft caught fire. It had to do with the battery failing after being charged.

Meh, I don't support any of this. If I was injured when some of my friends did this, I would have attacked them.

Fellas...Styrofoam+Gasoline=Napalm

Be careful with it. Its sticky, highly flammable, and hard to put out.

Same here, I wouldn't like getting burned.
