Well, since I can't find any threads on this, I decided to make one. What do you think of Elephant Quest? Feel free to share your thoughts on this thread. I personally think it's a great game, because you can do lots in the game, it's quite a long game, and there's just the right amount of humor mixed in.

I think the game is geared towards younger children.

I just don't find it that enjoyable. It's fun for a few minutes but I get bored with it easily.

I can see the storyline of it though and understand it, it's a nice game. I haven't beat it yet.

Elephant quest is quite overrated for an adventure game. Completed on the day when it's released and never went back because all elephant games are too "kiddy" and lack replayability value.

It being listed on the front page as one of the &quotopular" games simply tells you that there's plenty of people who actually like this kind of game and I believe majority of them are all under the age of 18 which explains why this game is popular.

The game is not very challenging aside from a few quests such as collecting balloons which means time well-spent in getting upgrades to complete the quest. The upgrades tree was nicely designed and complex but not very exciting as the player already knows what each function does (i.e. improve ability to jump higher). Enemies were of no real concern after you get a few helpers and upgraded cannon to a decent margin. The story is very basic and not very well thought through. The comical relief is implied and is barely noticeable but when acknowledged make the game seem even more corny than it already is. But the graphics are quite good for a kiddy game and different themed areas further reinforces the colourful and ambient interactive experience.

I would recommend the game to any kids who love animals and prefer a "happily ever after" ending after the resolution of any situation.

So does that mean I'm a "younger child?"

But, I don't know, it reminds me of the Subspace Emissary from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, for some reason. Maybe because there are lots of worlds, i.e. the grasslands, ruins, clouds, etc.

I love this game, I just find the Zippers too hard to deal with. I wish I could kill them, but they always kill me first.
