Well I hate to break it to you, but stereotypes are never quite as uniform as they seem. While they are mostly based in some form of truth, they never apply to the entire people they seek to stereotype. Certainly with any stereotype you can find one person who fits it. In any case stereotyping is bad blah blah blah...
Stereotypes are usually made up because of a bad few out of a group. I have blonde friends, but they're pretty smart. Sure, they do dumb things sometimes, as most of my friends do, but anyone else that isn't a blonde could also do that too.
That stereotype is not true, my middle school ap class had about 10 blonde girls. On the other hand, there are a lot of REALLY stupid blonde girls i know

In any case, it is a general assumption about a group of people. It isn't necessarily true or false, although in this case, it's false.
There are plenty of smart blond people, as well as lots of idiots with a different hair color. While many blonds may be dumb, in this case, it is not in relation to that characteristic.

well i am blond and i am smarter than 20% of highschoolers(only math) and im in 8th grade.
i know lots of blond people and some of them are definatly very dumb so i think it is made aware to those dumb ones
That said, the fact that you have to show off how "smart" you are means you're rather insecure or annoying.
Two of my closest friends are blonde and I pay them out all the time. It's all in good spirit. I also bleached my hair a little so whenever I say or do something dumb recently I've been calling it a blonde moment :P
wow... i cant even believe someone actually thought this is true. of course blode people/women arent dumb. think about it logically, how does someones hair colour has anything to do with his inteligence. also there are communities in the world that most people there are blonde and of course you cant say that a whole community is dumb. last line: if you ever hear a stereotype, its 99% chance its wrong... wow stereotype is one of the few things that can make me mad (and no i am not blone lol)
