So I know that this may be over used but maybe we could have a clan system in the AGv3 system? Basically this idea is that you could make you own clan and have your own name in which you could have separate events withing the clan.
Even newer ranks for people in a clan such as:

Clan Leader
Clan Advisor
Clan Member
Clan Organizer
Clan Associate
So on and so forth.

Clan Leader:
Basically runs the clan and can "kick" people out of a clan or "ban" them from a clan. So no they're not Mods or Admins but they just keep the clan under control.

Clan Advisor:
Basically helps with enforcing the rules of the clan and the site to newbies. Also can Advise a member of the clan to go to someone else if needed.

Clan Member:
Just a normal member nothing really special about them. They can be "kicked" or "banned" from a clan. Will really make up the majority of the clan.

Clan Organizer:
This is where some of the fun would come in. They could suggest fun ideas for the clan to do. Such as playing a muliplayer game with just your clan members. They would normally set up the event and do alot of the organizing for the game. Such as a tournament for the clan.

Clan Associate:
Just about anyone who is Associated with the clan but not really in the clan. Even if they're in another clan. When your an Associate I would just suggest that you put which clans they're associated with on their profile.

Now I was think that close to the persons name when they're on the forums you could put which clan they're in. Also somewhere on their profile.

Now I was think that for a clan they could have a bit of their own forum. Not as intricate as our just on community and maybe a few different categories but not as many as the main one. So that they can make their own activites without cluttering up the forums.

Also I was think maybe clan compettions at random times, but this would not be necessary.

all good ideas i hope there will be clanny thing in AG3
that includes clans with their own name , custom ranks , forums , fanpage , Armatars , clan tag , ... just some things that you can put in it and im sure it will be great with these elements !

hmmmm... i know the part that to have a clan, you must support the alternate accounts on your bio..... cormyn, i see a lot of clans with bios that dont have a link to the alternate accounts.... what should i do? report or do nothing?

1.5 out of 6 is "barely any", not "most".

I'm assuming by custom ranks, he wants what others talked about back early on in the thread about having like &quotresident", "vice-president", etc., on down to "newbie".

Our vision is that for phase one, groups will certainly get a custom name, and that group will have a single leader, and everyone else will be a member who is free to join/leave as they choose. To start, leaders probably won't have the ability to pick and choose who joins the group. The group will have a sort of 'rofile' page, but whether we allow members to post there or just the group leader, we haven't decided yet.

Custom ranks MAY come in phase 2.

Groups will not get dedicated forums, custom armatars, or any sort of 'tag' added to users' usernames.

I definently agree with this guild idea. And make sure the include a MAIL BOX for every player so they can recieve invites

Just to create them, so we don't have a million groups.

Every user on AG3 already has a private mailbox.

So, I'm just thinking here but perhaps there should be a clan picture. It would definitely help define some clans from others.

Well, we won't have custom armatars any time soon, we might in the future, at which point I suppose users could adopt a similar armatar.

Hmm... I see you guys already have an image in your head. I think its a good idea, too. Your vision of Phase 1 is a good first step. First, it will be based on being more social on this site. I'm guessing Phase 2 will be connected to the games. I think one requirement should be at least being a Gold-Serf because we wouldn't want fresh newbies to start making Clans when they've just started. If you don't like the rank idea, maybe it should be how long they've had an account.

It's just a suggestion, Cormyn. Just say if you like or don't like the idea. I know you guys haven't decided what the requirements will be. So I'm just giving a personal idea what one requirement should be (with details).

@all AG Users, don't completely expect that Armor Games will make Clans. This thread was made by a regular User and Armor Games just liked the idea.

Actually, the rank system might be different in AG3. However, I agree with having a minimum rank as a requirement for clan creation.

AG is trying to make it easier for clans. There are already clans in AG made by users.

You see, that's not really fair at all. I know it takes time for the newbies to be mature or whatever to make a clan, but it's there decision. And what do they do? They spam the crap out of there points until they reach that rank.

Sorry to those few people that like it, but I think 'Play Date' sounds so "baby-ish." But Scheduled Games really does sound too mature. Maybe they can use something Medieval-related. Like um...how about Clan Duels?

Also, I understand that my idea of a minimum Rank to start a Clan will seem unfair, but if we kept it at anybody, well...imagine this, a kid finds Armor Games, makes an account, plays for a few minutes, makes a Clan, but gets bored and doesn't like it, so leaves Armor Games and forgets about it forever, and also forgets his/her Clan along with it. I know a lot of people would do that, in addition, it's a very low rank. Besides, I don't think that people would understand the concept of Clans (in the later Clan enhancements) unless they join one themselves first.

I wonder how long until AG3 actually comes out. Hmm...
