I've noticed that certain game's are becoming available before they show up on the homepage & other games are not moving down the hompage when new ones come

yup, everything in the homepage is kinda random. To have more detailed info, try these links
the newest games
the best rated games
the most played games
all the games in alphabetical order (dunno how this can be useful, but however)

Nope, not random at all.

We sometimes &quotromote" a game (like "iStunt 2" right now) to stay in that top left spot for a while. And not every new game added to the site is added to the home page, though pretty much everything on the home page gets a Twitter mention. Those tend to be staff-picked special games that we want to tell the users about. And unless we're promoting a certain game, they're listed in the order they were approved on the site.

uh, good to know. So, also the highest rated games are chosen by the staff? Because the actual rating king (sonny 2) got kicked by the front page D:

Like I said, pretty much all games on the home page are hand-picked for that placement, usually by Dan.
