WARNING* It helps if you have or are looking into buying it. Otherwise posting here is rather pointless, is it not?
So it seems that Homefront hasn't been brought up yet. (I only looked on page 2 but I think thats far enough back for a new topic) So I'm exactly one hour in and still unable to play it. I knew there would be some problems, but come on this is just bad.
This is doubling as a warning and me asking about your thoughts on what you HAVE played.
So as said previously. If you plan on playing the Multiplayer then hold off for at least a week.
The multiplayer is pretty fun for me, but it's still really glitchy. In one game I spawned with some kind of weird dead guy arm, and I could only knife (knife hand looked normal). I ended up chasing an idiot for 3 minutes before knifing him and getting his weapons. One time I saw a guy sniping and slowly walking forward. I put two clips into him and knifed him and he just kept walking in the air (he was originally on a hill). I'm waiting for an update. I also love how when you respawn before you spawn you zoom in on the map and see where all of your teammates and enemies are.
To reply to d_dude: yeah same here. I've emptied an entire ACR clip on someone and then they just poof away. AN update would be very appreciated...I wonder If the producers come here and see what peoples opinions are.
Why is it that all youtube videos of homefront take place on the same us suburbs map?
It's because I think those are all beta gameplay. Either that or it's their favorite map. I love the map, really nice for sniping. If you're playing battle commander TDM you can be un-stoppable I got like 30-10 with the ACR by just running around.
It's weird, I can't play the multi-player even though my xbox live is working well on other games, yet whenever I try getting into a multiplayer match on Homefront the xbox live either immediately disconnects, the server is down, or the MP match freezes...
Anyone know how to solve this? I've been getting furious about it for the last couple of days...
the homefront multiplayer is really fun and has good weapons and different "killstreak" styling. Yes i agree the servers are TERRIBLE and i even thought about taking the game back.
They're trying to fix the servers so MANY of the features are down right now.
