well i dont really care for either at&t seems to disconnect alot with their internet i dont think at&t is that bad on iphones but i never had verizon except once when it was on my moms old phone and it was awful because there was arely ever bars for the signal strength
I choose it because of how reliable the internet connection is and how fast it is. I also use it as a television provider. I get to see all my favorite channels and it doesn't cost much.
The phones are great, much better than Verizon, for me. I notice while I used Verizon; I could barely get a signal. But with AT&T I get a signal basically everywhere I go.
Actually, Apple created the iPhone. AT&T was just the first to snatch up the oppurtunity.
Verizon is the best. Yes, they are more expensive, but it's worth your money. Generally, AT&T has the worst signal in industrialized areas, aka the East Coast. It works best on the Pacific Coast, but even then it only matches Verizon there. If you read Consumer Reports, in a poll of 35 populous cities throughout the US, 32/35 of the cities had Verizon in first place (Sprint was in the 3 remaining). AT&T came in dead last, behind T Mobile.
Again, it really depends on where you live. If you look at the Verizon Coverage map, there is a lot of white area in the Mountain West.
Also, this probably isn't relevant, but AT&T lies when it says that it covers 97% of the US. It doesn't even cover 25%. That's just not possible.
One of my friends who uses AT&T came over (I live in NY) and he couldn't even get one bar of 1X. Meanwhile I had 3 bars of 3G on my Verizon Phone.
@Ghost of Matrix I respect your opinions, and like you I am stating my personal experiences.
