It's funny that people make this comparison. Microsoft is primarily an Operating system company, they only do software, whereas Apple makes hardware and software. For the Computers section in my debate, I will replace Microsoft with PC
Computers: Apple's computers are ridiculously overpriced. I can get the same power from a PC for about 300-500 than I can with a mac costing 1000+. It's also not true that macs don't get infected by viruses. They're just less common, so haxxors don't really bother with them, but there are mac viruses out there.
Software: I will not lie, I like the Mac OS a little better than I like Microsoft, cause it's really clean, but this also sacrifices user- friendliness, so they kinda cancel out. While Microsoft's OS (and by OS I'm mainly referencing the home computer screen) can get pretty cluttered if you let it, It is the most user friendly. Also, everything is done in microsoft office.
Gadgets: This one I don't like any of them. Ipones and Windows Phones suck. Android is where it's at as far as mobile devices are concerned. The Moto Xoom can smash the Ipad, and the Droid line can smash the windows phone and the iPhone.

It's funny how you don't understand that Windows owns Microsoft. Microsoft can step into Apple's territory just like iTunes can step into Windows'.
Also, Macintosh is the operating system for Apple.
dilly213, you are my favourite guy on this topic hes right about everything. People stuck in their cubicles working for a cheap company that buys cheap computers. What computer does said cheap company buy for their cubicle dwellers? PC. Why? because its cheap and as long as you can make a spreadsheet on it, it'll work for them. mac wins.
