I just created this topic to see peoples opinions on these two flash game sites,I personaly like Armorgames because the ranking is way more consistant,also Armorgames has a bigger amount of flash games,but feel free to post your opinion.
Newgrounds isn't just games; it's also music and animations.
There are also other sites with Flash games, such as Kongregate, Adult Swim, etc. And there are even some sites which let you play games using not Flash but a different plugin, such as YoyoGames.
I have not been to NewGrounds a whole lot due to them having x-rated things on the site and I've heard that you can catch viruses from them if you accidentally click on one. Also, I don't see many exclusive Flash Games on NewGrounds worth playing. I just went on over there to take a look at their Forums and I don't like the layout of the site in general or how the Forums are organized. They have a picture of a man next to them and are really cluttered. There's no space between any of them which could cause confusion.
I'll have to choose ArmorGames out of these two. Since I've been on AG much longer. I've grown to like this Community even though it does have it's ups and downs, I don't plan on leaving soon. Also, I like most of the flash games around the site and there are MANY. I'm sure that AG is up there for most flash games. We also have exclusive flash games that are really good that other sites don't have. The Forums are wonderful, they are constantly monitored by the Moderators of AG and they do a great job of keeping the site clean. Oh, and with AG3 coming out soon you can expect much more features and an updated site. So. . AG has it pretty much covered with everything and utterly wins.
I think Armor Games is better than Newgrounds, because it has alot more games and better games. I like the idea of armor points, which keeps you interested in the site and the ranks you can unlock. Armor Games is probably better.
Yea, the navigation at NG isn't that intuitive and you can't really get at the full list of games that have been added, like Kong does. It does host great games though.
