I love GemCraft but am having a bit of trouble getting past a certain point.
I've cleared all fields up to M8 which is the only field I can beat to unlock more.
For some reason I am having an extremely difficult time passing this field with only Slowing and Mana gain; unlocking further gems such as armor tearing or Bloodhound are only causing more issues with not enough mana and defeat by wave 13 or so when the first giant creeps start out.
I am currently level 41 and maybe this has something to do with it but replaying previous fields to gain levels has become extremely tedious especially when battle settings cause failure near the end.
I also tried the leveling guide for pylon field J10 but avast I did not have enough mana to summon enough monsters and only gained 2-4k exp each time before I was forced to end the level in fear of death. (around wave 120)
I have tried various combinations to pass M8 such as dual gems and triple gems with the same crushing defeat.
