I've played WoW for several years, and I've seen plenty of female gamers. I think the reason why people think there are so few girls on WoW is because they rarely ask what gender other players are, and the only time you notice that someone is a girl is when you meet those who are, like, soooo obviously girls ^_^ =3, and people just seem to think that those are the only girls around.
I do think that's it's pretty much a well known fact that there are not as many girls that play video games as guys, but I think it's a little bit of Society's influence and personality types of each person. Guys in general are expected to at least know about video games like COD and what not, whereas girls, I have no idea. I personally have never heard a girl talking about any video game. Whether because it's seen to be not a thing that girls do, or it's just not something they want to talk about instead of something else, I have no idea.
I'm confused... I guess I just never really thought about it, but for whatever reason it baffles me that you would make sexist comments... but then again you don't like... nvm
So yeah, I'm a girl on a gaming website. Whoopdedoo.
Exactly my point. I still don't see the reason for this thread. Most of the people who are posting are guys anyway... Easy Bake Ovens, those were the days. My sister had one and she actually gave me food. Now, she's a baker, and hoardes all the food for herself and her friends.
On Exit Path, people often ask me whether I'm female or not. It's annoying. If I say I am, then they either cuss me out or hit on me.
Really? I've never had any problems with Exit Path. It's obvious that I'm a girl from my name, but nothing happens. So yeah, this is pointless. As well as throwing shoes. What's up with that?
