i do still play it now and again, tbh i found it hard to find quests and things to generally do, especially biegn ceasars legion (since you can help all the little ncr camps etc)
This thread is full of the worst spelling and grammar I've ever seen.
I still play it because I haven't beaten the main story yet. Also a lot of people have either sold it, or shelved it recently. There was a while where a HUGE bug would stop you from being able to go into new areas. It would freeze your game.
I played Fallout 3 GOTY Edition. It was so much fun just like OBLIVION was. The only thing was that it was very buggy. I haven't played New Vegas due to Glitches and Bugs plus the game ebds after the main quest line.
I own Fallout 3 GOTY Edition also, and like SageCreed said, it is just as good as Oblivion, and in my opinion actually better. Bethesda Softworks really tore into the Fallout series, especially Fallout 3. You see, with Fallout 3 there was this sense of scariness and almost loneliness to the game while wandering around the brutal Capital Wasteland. That scare factor actually made the game more fun. I can't tell you how many times I have looked over my shoulder in the dark corner of my room while playing Fallout because I got nervous. It was great! Fallout New Vegas lost ALOT of that. I'm not trying to rip on New Vegas or anything, but it lost a lot of what made the other Fallout games so great. The faction feature in the game was pretty good, but after a while it got extremely annoying. I say it got annoying because if I went friendly with one faction and then went into that faction's enemy's territory, I'd get shot on site. I personally think that they should've stuck with the original Fallout 3 gameplay and just move the location of the game.
I played it for a month abd I still play it for half an hour now. To me it just seems like a glorified expansion pack and would have a way better story if it was an add-on to Fallout 3 instead of a seperate game. Story was one of the things New Vegas kind of screwed with. There was no twist in the middle of the story since you can just hear the information on the radio. If New Vegas had a little more time put in it then there would be close to no annoying bugs/glitches. But if you don't actually do the main story and if you can ignore the extremely annoying bugs and glitches, then it's an okay game. I mainly just screw around with the enviroment and side quests in New Vegas now. I recently got Dead Money for New Vegas and it has made my experience much better. Like ClammyPants said the scare factor in Fallout 3 made it more fun and Dead Money brought that back.
Yeah, Fallout 3 is great, i've been borrowing it and think i might go buy it. But, i do like how New Vegas has ammo benches while you have to get a DLC in Fallout 3 to get the ammo press
