im trying to play minecraft and its always slow.i removed all theuseless programs from my computer and its still slow. any idea on what to do?
i have tried uninstalling and installing and it didn't work
and i can't connect to the multiplayer server because the connection times out.

no,i have a next elonex computer with windows xp home edition. and i tried putting video setting to short but it made it worst.
can't find windows task manager, so thats useless
yeah,the first solution makes it slightly faster and the second solution makes it run like a snail. also, i need some new multiplayer server ip's and need to know why the connection is timing out when i trie to connect
