I have 63 armor points, but I should only have 62.

Has anybody else experienced this issue?

I believe this may be a glitch with either the 'AP calculation' or the 'ost counter'.

The current AP calculation formula is:

(C + R) * 2 + P + (G * 25)

C= Comments to a game
R= Number of unique games rated
P= Post count
G= Games submitted

The counters are basically what makes your statistics work properly.

The formula is incorrect. The correct formula is:

(C+R)*2+P+(G*20)+(M*25)
C=Game comments
R=Game ratings
P=Forum posts
G=Games submitted
M=Merits

I have the following:
C=207
R=234
P=77
G=0
M=0
My AP shows up as 960. According to the calculation, the correct value is 959.

I have the same thing with mine. It is two off.

I have the following:

C=709
R=620
P=223
G=0
M=0

It says I have 2894, but I should have a little less than that. I guess I can't complain, they are giving me extra points.

It most liekly just didn't add a forum post on or something yet. Not something to worry about.

But, it may be the point ants threw up on you.

If it didn't add a forum post than you would have less points. What might have happened is something you posted got removed as spam and it never subtracted the points. 0R Y0UR 411 H4X0R5.

(64+1622)*2+31+(0*20)+(0*25)
(1686)*2+31+0+0

based on formula=3403
actual=3403
(check)
BTW, I did not use a calculator, I did all the math in my head.

AP takes a bit to catch up/drop down. Clearing your cache and logging back onto the site will fix it 99% of the time.

My points are perfectly fine. I would try the clearing cache thing and see if that works.


But, it may be the point ants threw up on you.


They do get sick sometimes...

I have called &quotoint ants" untrue on another thread. Unfortunately, I got nicknamed Captain Literal because the "ants" are figurative.

it might be due to that you're page does not update until someone posts on you're profile, so you have it looks like you have less posts and comments than you really due.
at least, that is what I'm guessing.

If you clear your cache, then what is cleared out? Your save data or your history?

I noticed this thread and decided to check it for myself... turns out that it happened to me too! O.O
I got a 2AP bonus from AG, but don't know where it came from... =)

What I DO know is that some games don't save your rating... even after logging off the site and clearing the cache... I reported this to cormyn sometimes and he fixed it, but it stayed as a glitch with points... meh =/

Let's just say... at last... another glitch after a long period of smooth running for AG! YAY! *grins* =)
