I quite enjoy the Percy Jackson and the Olympians,Lord of the rings, and Vampire plague books. Im a little old for reading them but they are still good.
i normally dont read much, but i had to read this book for my english class called a long way gone by ishmael beah. it's an autobiography about the civil war in sierra leone during the 80'2-90's. it's an amazing book if you like action, read it. but be warned, it is increadibly gorey and some people in my class felt like throwing up reading it.
I really like the books from Helen Vreeswijk, they are about things that can happen to people, like a girl seduced by a loverboy and a boy who lives in a family where his dad beats his mother and you've got one about drugs, about falling in love with someone from the internet, about a stalker etc.
They're all really good books and i just couldn't stop reading it
One series i really liked was the hunger games series. If not, then Deadline by Chris Crutcher. Its really good, even though i only read it for school, and its not too long
The best book I have read this year was Q & A by Vikas Swarup. The movie Slumdog Millionaire, which won eight out of ten Academy Awards for which it was nominated, is an adaptation of the novel. The book is a lot different than the movie and IMO it's way better. The story is just incredible. Everyone who liked the movie should definitely read the novel.
I'm a big book worm and I have gone through a lot of books, a series I recommend is the Ranger Apprentice series. Its a fiction set in the meadevil world.
