Just beat all the Major Quest in Fallout 3, plus the DLC (The Pitt was EPIC). So this leads me to my question: What RPG should I get next?
As I said previously, I really like Fallout 3. Don't know any other RPGs besides the Fallout Series, but I like how the game reacts to the choices you make. I was thinking about getting New Vegas, but I'm also curious about branching out from the series.
I have an XBox 360, Gold Membership, and rating/cost isn't too much of a problem.
I've got New Vegas, and it's a great game. Definitely worth buying. Aside from that, maybe you should try Oblivion, since it's sort of like a medieval fantasy version of Fallout 3 and later, but without the VATS.
Aside from that, I'd recommend Mass Effect 1 & 2 and Dragon Age Origins & 2. DA: Origins is a bit slow paced, but the story line is amazing and captivating. DA 2 and Mass Effect 1 & 2 have equally amazing and captivating story lines, but with more fast paced combat. My favorite part of Dragon Age 2, aside from the amazing story line, bazillion choices and amazing combat, was that pretty much every choice you did actually mattered, and many of them affected future quests. Really, Dragon Age 2 is an amazing game. When I bought it, I spent all my free time playing it 'til I finished it twice, and it's a big game.
So, my recommendations:
Fallout: New Vegas TES: Oblivion Mass Effect 1 & 2 Dragon Age Origins & 2
And by the end of this year, the sequel to Oblivion will be released. TES: Skyrim. That's going to be freaking epic.
Oblivion, since it's sort of like a medieval fantasy version of Fallout 3 and later, but without the VATS.
So how are the weapons then? I need VATS in Fallout, because I've found that very few weapons are accurate enough to use without vats. SO are the weapons more accurate, or do the targets not move? Or is it just timing and luck?
I've heard of Mass Effect, but I've no idea what its about. Dragon Age Origins sounds pretty good, so I'll look more into that one too. Bethseda didn't do New Vegas, right? Or am I thinking of MW3 and IW?
i recomend borderlands its the non buggy equivelent of fallout i recomend you get goty edition since you get all the dlc cept for the newest one which is about ninja claptraps

well oblivions a fantasy, so bows arrows spells and swords,so the lack of vats doesnt really affect it at all, bear in mind this was made before fallout btw
borderlands is also fairly good, but i dont think iv played it enough to comment,
id also recomend new vegas, some of the perks force you to specialise and other methods are viable (eg melee when focused on is very good, but branching into to many skills leaves you weak), whereas in fallout you could basically make a lvl 30character who was a master with every weapon
again i cant speak of dragon age as iv not played it yet, but iv heard good things about that and mass effect aswell
other than those theres really not that many polished and good rpgs on the xbox

The game engine is the same that Fallout 3 uses. Content was developed by Obsidian Entertainment.

That depends on whether you choose to play a character that goes melee or uses bows or spells. The latter two require some precision and reflexes, while melee combat doesn't involve much aiming at all. You might need some time to get used to bows, but they can be very precise and quite deadly if used right.

Borderlands is an FPS *with* some RPG elements. The story and quests are linear and don't resemble the games mentioned before much.

My friend has Borderlands, and it seemed alright. I liked Fallout better, and it inspired me to get my own copy.

So aiming isn't a pain in the arse than? And are there multiple Oblivions, or just one? If there are more, than which one should I get?

YES! My best file on Fallout 3 has 100 in every skill except Melee Weapons and Unarmed. Its ridiculous, 'cause you can just get that perk that gives +2 for every book read, and your skills just go up. Coupled with Bobbleheads and...

i personally own the game and ive barely done any quests and ive just been killing things also no need to rage i was just giving an idea for the guy jebus take a chill pill jk
I've heard of Mass Effect, but I've no idea what its about.
It's a sci-fi shooter RPG. You play as Commander Shepard, whose appearance and class you choose, and you pretty much have to save the world.
It's like a really good shooter game, with a great story line, and all the best elements of RPGs added to it. You can level up, you can make choices, do quests, you have a squad of fully voiced allies with their own personalities and opinions, there are spells and abilities depending on your class, you can get new equipment, etc. It's really just the best from shooter games combined with the best from RPGs, with nice graphics and a captivating story line. It's from the same creators as Dragon Age, so it's a lot like a sci-fi version of DA.
Really, if you have never played Mass Effect, you've really missed out on something. It's just epic in every way.

Sorry, I didn't mean it to sound like a bad thing. It's just a different kind of game, and a pretty good one that is.
