A religion? AND before you say that I'm flaming, I don't mean all of science. I mean mostly things about the Big Bang, evolution, etc. It's all theoretical right? And theoretical things haven't been proven. Please post thoughts, and remember that I'M NOT FLAMING.

Does your "Imho" stand for "in my hopeless opinion"? Besides, if you wan't to kill a religion, don't kill all it's believers, burn all their books.

What would that do? None actually read those books. They just kind of node their head at whatever the religious leader tells them.

No one reads the bible? If you really think that then I can't even start to reply to this. . .

It is a common joke. It it is mostly true. How many Christians do you know who have actually read the whole Bible?

Still would leave all the digital copies. Even if it didn't it could simply go back to being taught orally.

I think exposing a religion to scrutiny is far more effective and civil, though it can take a while still.

Impossible the bible is part of the internet and is spread over the world it's almost impossible to kill it now. Anyway it wouldn't matter as long as you have the ideology and a leader.

actually, studies show atheists know the bible better then Christians, ergo, Atheists read it more then believers.

Sad and most likely true. Atheists need ammunition for when they go into debates and there is nothing better than tearing away at the bible then the bible itself.

Ah, but therein lies the problem. Were is a perfect work by a perfect God then it would never be able to even be considered as evidence against itself. No one uses a biology textbook to show biology wrong, or a math book to prove that math is contradictory. Why is it, then, that a book that is supposed to be the perfect word of a perfect deity is so perfectly suited to showing it's own stupidity....

Simple stats:
1.Higher IQ = less % of believers.
2.States with highest level of life have very low religious level(Japan, Norway,Belgium...)
3.USA, which positioning self as one of the most religious states, have highest count of maniacs, in USA them more than summary from all other countries.

I thought moderators weren't supposed to take sides. It's not like you're helping both sides talk about the issue. Your just taking one side and calling the other one stupid.

I'm sorry but your one of the worst moderators.

Wait, so moderators can't say anything about their own opinion? So they are basically banned from the WEPR? Why? As long as no moderator uses her/his power to ban people based on his/her own opinion, then I think it's perfectly fine to have an opinion. They are human beings after all.

So your opinion is that people who have might shouldn't have an opinion, am I right? And all politicans should not mess with international conflicts?

You've never seen NoName in a political discussion I guess. Mods are just like everyone else on here, they have just accepted extra responsibilities to keep things running smoothly.

I love that I'm one of the worst moderators Interestingly it's the religious folks who dislike me, seemingly because I speak out about their superstition. My opinion also has nothing to do with my duties as a moderator.

If I were a bad moderator I'd censor you superstitionists, delete your posts and comments, and ban you for ridiculous offenses. The fact that I do not, and keep my opposing views separate from my responsibilities shows that I am at least not as bad of a moderator as I could be xD

I don't even have much to say about this....do you expect Mods to confine their own thoughts just because they have a little extra responsibility? Doesn't really make much sense to me.

You are one of the best to me, Walker. XD

These statistics are really interesting; I'm surprised no one has commented on them yet.

1: Please cite source.
2: That's because of the diversity, most large cities want to appear open to everyone who wants to come.
3: It's not about the amount of maniacs, it about the percentage. America is one of the largest (geographically speaking) countries in the world. So it's expected to have a higher amount. But if we have a lower PERCENT, then we're totally sane compared to everyone else.

If you read a legal document with intent to find loopholes, then is it the legal document's fault, or your own? Maybe the reason atheists read it is because they're reading it to find loopholes. One more thing: If you write a grammatically perfect paper, and an idiot comes along and says you did it wrong, which of you is right?
