Everyone is different in the art they enjoy. My girl and I are very into Van Gogh. We have several of his prints through out our house.

I am also in to Dali. His work is amazing to stare at.

So, this topic was created to hear about what you like. I am always interested in what turns people on (artistically).

I like cell shaded art. Not Manga's or cartoon I mean like windwaker soft tones. But there are like no artists on the internet that draw like that.

I like fine art and walking through museums but I sort of agree with Nemo.

I really, really like old medieval churches and castles. I can't decide if it's the architecture or the stained glass windows? All I know is if I was given the choice of traveling to Scotland or the Bahama's, I'd pick Scotland!

I actually like landscape pictures or really detailed ones. Gothic architecture rules Anime? meeehhh it gets a bit typical sometimes if you know what I mean.

I like Dali up until stuff from the early-mid 70s. Everything from then on for a while was pretty awful.

A well-done digital painting, like this (click on the image to see it in full-view and you will be amazed)one by Vitaly Alexius,
can be just as breathtaking as oil-on-canvas imo.

I'm a fan of Dali as well. I also like Frida Kahlo (who can say no to a unibrow?).

And Hieronymus Bosch. He's a pretty BA Flemish painter from the 15-16th centuries. He was WAY ahead of his time.
Check it out.

And Hieronymus Bosch.

Wow, Aknerd, now I'll have nightmares of crazed monster fish with pitchforks!

I agree, he was unique. I won't even ask about the unibrow...
