A fact about pi:

The decimal representation of Ï truncated to 11 decimal places is good enough to estimate the circumference of any circle that fits inside the Earth with an error of less than one millimeter, and the decimal representation of Ï truncated to 39 decimal places is sufficient to estimate the circumference of any circle that fits in the observable universe with precision comparable to the radius of a hydrogen atom.

Na, we had to work it out and show detailed workings. IT WAS HARD! Ahhhh. Im glad I actuall got it correct. My brain was like slush after that test.

I only know 3.141 and I don't think it is necessary to know more, only if you are a mathematic or a math freak.

i know 10 digits... because thats all my TI-83 knows
3.141592654....(the 4 is rounded because im pretty sure pi is 3.1415926535.....)

i can remember the first 10: 3.141592654 i got bored in math class and my calculator only shows those so i memorized it XP

I dont see the point in memorizing that many digits... i memorized 10 so that i can reduce the round off error when i use pi in calculators... i also memorized 6 digits of e

There is no end to pi. Pi is an irrational number. Irrational numbers never end and don't have a repeating pattern.
