I don't mean baseball cards or anything, I'm talking about cards you'd expect to find at say a casino. Basically, I'm wondering how many different types of card games you can play with one deck. Some examples: War, solitaire, trash, etc.
Egyptian Ratslap. That's what me and my friends call it. We play it everyday after our "Gateway to Tech" class. We have about 20 minutes after that class so it's always a fun time.

Where there are two or more people, there are also a large number of games possible: Poker (with all its variants), Bridge (Auction/Contract), 500, Euchre, Cribbage, last card... Try getting a copy of Hoyle's Book of Games, and you'll see just how many there are. In fact, the Wikipedia entry entitled Card Game reckons there are countless varieties.
A game called Crazy Eights can be played with a deck of cards. Oh boy is that game annoying. Pretty much is like Uno except '2' is your 'PickUp2' and '8' is your 'Wildcard' and if you have to pick up, you have to keep on picking up until you get a card.
magic the gathering and yu gi oh. pokemon :P haha bet no one said those yet
No one named those because those aren't played with a playing cards deck (the ones you find at casinos (read the first post))
I know go fish, spider solitair, another solitaire (not sure of its name), texax hold'em, 5 card draw, black jack, crazy eights, rummy, gin rummy, spit, pig, spite and malace, hearts, spades, and war. (I probably know more but i can't think of any)
