Helpful to know how many skill points you have available.
Even level 20 should be able to do something like wall above orb, wall the T junction at bottom. Build turret/amps across path from shrine (near monster nest, leave enough space for amps around it). Armored only, unlock red use red should do fine (purple and green gems are at the bottom of the barrel, at least green has some use at the very beginning).
