well those were tragic deaths though. i think the biggest "what the?...." would probably when either when U2 played on top of the virgin records, when keith moon passed out during the middle of the who's set and then they got some kid to play 3 songs with them, or the travis barker/DJ A.M. plain crash

I've said this before, Elvis is not dead. He is alive and working at a 7-Eleven.

The strangest moment to me is when Kim Kardashian and her sisters got multiple TV shows and such.

Because they have no talent at all, except maybe being good drama queens.

But they're supposed to be good-looking. And that what the media exploits to the masses: beauty and what YOU can't have.
I'm in no way saying that Kim Kardashian is beautiful.

If Elvis Presley was alive, why would he stay low in a seven-eleven? And why wouldn't the media be absolutely surrounding him?

Stragest moment in pop culture (and I know I'm going to get hated on for this) is when Jersey Shore somehow got popular. How could we let that happen?

Strangest moment in pop culture... ahmmm... how about the boyz from Hanson with Mmmbop, a happy but very soon after getting a big Y.U.K. factor?!
And to top it off... now trying to make a BIG comeback after a nice one-day-wonder-hit and have "E.P.I.C.F.A.I.L." written allover them... O.o
