Haven't you noticed that there are certain guns in practically every reality (not halo) FPS game. Such as the M16, AK47, M60, RPG-7, and UZI. Yes I know these are important guns in firearms history, but, then again give some of the others a chance. Like in BFBC2 they introduced the XM8, a gun practically never used in video games. So keep it fresh and post some real gun ideas and the game they would be in.

i would like to see the AR-15 in some Korean or Vietnam war game.

it was the predecessor to the m-16, and was a favorite of troops.

These guns are overused because they are some of the most common guns out there. It's all about mass appeal. Everyone loves AK 47's. They're classics.

AK-47s are way overused... but I won't even start about P90s. lol

the only problem with the p90 is the recoil but on mw2 u can duel wield them i mean seriouly? thats like duel wielding a death machine with less ammo

bc2 didnt intreoduce the xm8. ur silly :P socom combined assault for the ps3 did. or at least thats the first game i played that had it. god i cant wait for socom. EVER gun is different besides a few of the ones that u cant go to war without

The XM8s in Battlefield 2 are obviously overused. They kill you pretty fast, so that's probably why.

I would love to see the Arctic Warfare Magnum sniper in more video games.

I would also love to see the Ruger 77/22.
