Yes! Get Battlefield 2. It's revolutionary. The multiplayer is amazing! There's nothing better than playing Rush on Battlefield 2. The story is sub-par for me though. If you buy it, you buy it for the multiplayer.
get bad company 2. if you had played the first game, as i had, you were amazed by it. if you play the second game, not only will you be amazed by it but you may have a minor case of sleep deprivation due to obsession to beat just one more level. the story is pretty stranded fare, but is different enough to stand out from the crowed.

It's different because you can make it different as well. Instead of using your enviroment in Crysis 2 you make your enviroment in BFBC2. If you need cover, you blow a ditch in the floor, if the enemy is behind cover - you blow it right up. It's hard to camp and win in multiplayer - and it's even harder to fight a team when you're just with random people.
It's mostly a team game, however lone wolf style of play is acceptable and you can be successful with it, given you have the right strategies.
Look at your team - Recon, Recon, Engineer, Medic, Recon, Recon.
Pick Assault? You can either fuel Recon's ammunition to keep them in the fight or you can take their cover fire as aid and go in the kill the enemy.
Or you could just make them 25% stronger with another recon, but if you move in with a Medic / Engineer you provide 50% enhancement + the chance to revive teammates if you take the medics kit + the resupply + the fluent ability to blow walls up with your grenade launcher + more firepower than the Engineer.
That's a lot.
plus medal of honor 2010 is a mw2 clone.
It would be nice if you could elaborate. But many games have badly followed MW2's footsteps through both campaign and terrible Multiplayer. Battlefield? Hell no, they've stuck to their roots.
If you think Battlefield Bad Company 2 can compete with Medal of Honour - I should let you know that DICE themselves have said that BFBC2 was not a "full effort", and I think it was more of an experiment for the destructible ground before they had gone into making Battlefield 3.
Oh, and by the way - that link is on the official Battlefield 3 website. If you want to get there yourself then: Google > Battlefield.com > Battlefield 3 : BF3 - EA
