No, not the Noah and the Whale song, but I've wondered about border control and everything.

Since I don't want to seem like I am obsessed with the economy, I'd like to focus on other things.

Border Control. Currently, border control is very strict. I propose that if anybody has stayed in the US longer than five years, or has family that has stayed longer than five years, they cannot be asked to leave and have full citizenship.

I see no problem in this. This seems like a logical approach to the situation, no?

Citizenship in this country is determined on whether or not the said individual can become a proud member of the American Workforce. Illegal Immigrants come into the nation because they don't want to pay taxes, and as such, are stealing jobs from true American citizens, people who were born here/people who have shown their capabilities as a hard worker. Because the Mexicans who cross over probably come from poor areas, they'll work for pennies an hour, and when the corporation leaders start to get threatened by the workers' abuse charges, the foremen just ask the Mexicans to see their citizenship papers.

What an amazing way to not promote racism. And quite a lot of all economies are based on what has been brought in from other countries.
