Okay, I'd like this to be the official thread for which you think is the best shooting game company.
I just saw a Treyarch vs Infinity Ward one and personally they both lose to me, but hey - that's not for a lot of other people, and this is for all Game Development Companies.
DICE - Maker of the Multiplayer of Medal of Honour and created the Battlefield Franchise. Infinity Ward - Started the CoD series, to my knowledge. Treyarch - Has created a few CoD games. CryTek - Has created the Crysis franchise (suggest you guys check it out btw). Bungie - Created the Halo franchise. Valve - Created the Team Fortress games.
Personally? I like a mix of them all for different reasons.
If I feel like testing my finesse I go with DICE's Battlefield. I haven't played Medal of Honour but you seem to fragile, so I cannot say it is very based on the "skilled" side and more on the strategic side (which, quite frankly, I like the strategy in Battlefield well enough). Call of Duty? If I feel like being a knit on a shooting game for fun (which a partial reason of doing this is seeing how badly people react). Sometimes though I just like to see how badly the hit registration, balance issues and the players are. A nice reminder to never get ripped off by any CoD game again.
Halo? It's an Xbox platform, and Halo 1 / 2 are very old right now (although for PC). They're a little crazy, you can see some very flooky things on this game like this.
Personally? Those flooks from Anoj's Videos > Anything you can pull off on Call of Duty - hooray, you just hit a guy across the map with a tomahawk - how many times you tried that?
Many of those were accidental and fault to Halo's nature - and because of that they're even better.
I'm with Bungie. One thing about Halo that doesn't even have anythign to do with gameplay that I love is the storyline, although it is a bit stereotypical, mainstream(can't think of the right word) I still find it very engaging and there are some likeable characters.
One thing that annoys me that I find in a lot of forums is the fact that if you say CoD has unrealistic elements and they know you like Halo they rage at you saying that Halo is the most unrealistic game ever created, my response- It's a science-fiction game. I don't know why people don't realise there's a difference between WWII and 2552 (crap, I've forgotten the year/s ).

I haven't got a problem with unrealism. It's just that CoD tries to sell it's presentation as what war is like, making it look awesome and etc. If you want what I think the best presentation of war is, go watch Band of Brothers and The Pacific.
Also, CoD is a bad game for other varying reasons. Obviously I believe this because I'm a scrub at it and I have a small penis - so the people who play CoD say.
wait a second, bungie can no longer make halo any more. dice wins now.
I disagree with this. That's like saying Chuck Norris is better because Bruce Lee is dead.
