I own Pokemon Diamond version, and its really hard to beat the elite 4, which it should be. I have a level 59 Empoleon which I use for almost all my battles. I read some other threads on different websites that all suggested taking your favorite pokemon and leveling them up to about level 100. I can get to the third elite person, but I run out of PP and I've used up practically all my HP restores so I'm screwed when it comes to the last two of the elite four. Any tips besides the ones I previously stated?

wow i remember that. i had the same problem, the same game version and the same started XD. anyway, there are a few things you can do.

1. level up your empoleon.
2. buy many more health potions (idk what they are called in the english version)
3. look for more pokemon you can use there. 1 pokemon is pretty dangerous. you should at least train another one who has a different type and then if one of them dies you can easily use the other one which is still strong and when he is close to diying revive the first one

i hope i helped.

oh and i guess you can also look for a really strong pokemon to trade if you have wireless internet

You should try to get a Garchomp. Hes a beast and will greatly help you against the E4.

I was actually going through the wayward cave (or whatever it's called) and I tried to find a Gible, but all I got was a Bronzor.

you should try to match against the elite 4. so if like they're a fighting type, use psychic type or something. and remember that you have the champ to beat which is even harder then the elite 4.

Was it the cave part under the bike path? I believe the chances are much higher there for a gible.

Yeah that champ will be really hard. I also caught Dialga, so I'm thinking just level him up and just rush through everyone.

I think they're called full restores, and ya I had like 20 of them, its just I don't really pay attention to the pokemon types. Generally I'll just use one pokemon (Empoleon) and blaze through anyone who fights me, but I need type efectivity if I want to win.

I'm thinking of leveling up my Ghastly to a Gengar and then leveling up the Gengar to level 60-70 so I have ghost and water types to use.

But you have to trade to get diamond pokemon like Dialga, so they're pretty much equal.

Yes it was, is there a place where you can get a Gabite or Garchomp without having to deal with evolving a Gible?

I think the only place to get gibles are under that path. Its a small chance but you could check the Global Trade Station for one if you have wi-fi.

Ya I forgot about the GTS, I'll try that out later. Ya I'm pretty sure the only place to get a gible is in that cave, but is there any place to get a garchomp besides trading for it?

I'm just happy that I don't have to go through victory road everytime I challenge the E4. It was hell trying to find the exit for victory road, I had a few escape ropes, but I didn't want to use them because I knew it'd just take me to the beginning of the cave.

Urgh I don't know what's wrong. I have wi-fi and it works but I can't use GTS.
