My Psychology Class is doing a project on what influences people to shop at different stores. Where they shop, why they shop there and, what they shop for.So, where do you shop for; Clothes: Groceries: Electronics: Entertainment(Music, Games ext): Other: Please put why you chose the store for each of the things. I realize I have not given names of stores but that is so people can put where they actually shop. We decided on that in class because we have noticed that there are always many more options than just what is given. Also, this will help keep the data from being bias just because there were only certain options given.
Clothes: Anything except pants at Gordman's. Groceries: Wal-Mart and Sam's Club. Electronics: Buy 'em anywhere online. Entertainment(Music, Games ext): Again, buy 'em anywhere online, unless I can get 'em cheap in town. Other: Menards?
Clothes: Macy's has quite a big selection Groceries: Usually depends on where I live, currently Superstore since it is pretty big Electronics: Gamestop for video games, since they have Game Informer, and all of those pre-order deals. For other electronics, probably Best Buy since they have basically everything, and the geek squad. Entertainment(Music, Games ext): iTunes is very accessible Other: ?
Clothes: The mall:JcPenny, Ross, Macys, Hollister, Aeropostale, and online i guess Groceries: Acme (for people who don't have it its called Albertsons), Shoprite, Walmart, Costco Electronics: Gamestop, Walmart Entertainment(Music, Games ext): Gamestop, Walmart Other: Be specific?
Clothes: Most of my clothes I have bought online since it's easier then walking around looking for clothes because I hate clothes shops. Groceries: Since most of the stores around here aren't in America I'll tell you the one I use when I'm in America - Walmart because it's the most convenient for me because I've learned from experience where most things are in there. Electronics: Normally online since it's probably the easiest place to find them. Entertainment(Music, Games ext): Online because it's the easiest place to find things fast or I buy games in Game Stop because it's easy to access from where I live. Other: Hmm..?
Clothes: Whatever happens to be nearest/has the items I'm looking for.; online. Groceries: Whatever happens to be nearest/has the items I'm looking for. Electronics: Online. Entertainment(Music, Games ext): Online. I don't buy physical copies of games. Other: Online.
For your project, AG is the perfect place to do a survey, because the community is always willing to help you out
Clothes: The Westfield Mall that I live near. Has quite a large selection, to say the least.
Groceries: Probably Vons or Target, both have a large selection and are near to where I live.
Electronics: Electronics: Fry's, or online. Fry's, like all my other choices, have a wide selection of items, and is near to where I live.
Entertainment: For games, I go to Gamestop. Wide selection of games, really. For music, I just get my songs off of Youtube. It's technically not illegal, and it's free!
Other: Online, I guess.
So in conclusion, the things that affect where I shop is usually selection and location. Oh, and prices.
Clothes: hollister, good sale prices, stylish, smells good. Groceries: Fred Meyer, great multi-purpose store with everything. Electronics: Best Buy, or Fred Meyer. Entertainment(Music, Games ext): GameStop. great store with great prices for used games. or Fred Meyer. Other: Industrial Rideshop. great for buying skate boards but the clothes are wayy to expensive.

Clothes: American Eagle, Express, Delias I like simple clothes that don't have lace or sequins or letters. Groceries: hannaford or Chinese grocery markets. XD Electronics: Best Buy....? Entertainment: Barnes and Nobles! Other: Chocolate stores.
Clothes: Kohls, usually. Cheap(er) and decent. Groceries: Wal-Mart or Target. Cheap and tasty. Electronics: Online, TigerDirect usually. I'll go to Best Buy for things I need right then and there. Entertainment(Music, Games ext): *coughwhobuysthoseanymorecough*
