Honestly, is anyone surprised at this point? This is her fourth jail stint. Is it even worth making news about?

I also found it interesting that she's going to be back on the set later this year. She's not a bad actress, but somehow I don't feel she will be taken very seriously as an actress at this point.

In 2009, 2,297,400 people where jailed across the US. What makes her special? That's what I think every time people talk about jailed actors.

1. She has no power
2. She isn't influencing anyone
3. She didn't commit any serious murder

thus, she is unimportant to society.

just shoot her so we can stop hearing about her on the news everyday and she goes to jail once every three months so whats the big deal she should be in prison anyways.

As much as I agree with you, I disagree with you because tons of people look up to her, envy her, and like her. That and the media blows everything way out of proportion.

According to NoName, she deserves tax breaks and doesn't need to give to the poor.

Am I correct, NoName?

I don't think anyone actually "looks up to her". Atleast no one of importance that could actually make a change. People only envy her because of her fame and money, not her thoughts. Sure some or even "many" people like her, but most of them don't really want to become like her.

She had no philosophical ideas that changed society like Karl Marx or Friedrich Nietzsche.

She isn't influencing anyone like the Beatles or Nirvana did.

She has no power like ghandi or Hitler did.

your words are rocking my ears. And its true. if she will ever be remembered, she will be remembered as a person who went to prison one too many times.

Is there any type of law that says if you go to jail X amount of times you go there for life?

People used to be influenced by her, that was the Freaky Friday generation. They're all grown up and now and consider her unimportant or idiotic.

She's not important. People just like to see megastars fail or become stupid. It's just good media, clearly everyone heard about it.
They're just filling a void, Britney Spears has gotten really quiet, you know.

Lohan is pathetic, and another thing that's pathetic is that media outlets actually take the time to acknowledge her existence while they ignore important world events.

If they're going to talk about any prisoner in the news, they need to talk about ones that actually matter, or are at least interesting.

I'd rather hear about how an overtly muscular prisoner named Big Butch Bill punched a hole through the wall and escaped just to see how long it would take for the authorities to find him. When he returned to his prison, he would congratulate all of the people who were responsible for catching him, and he would make them all trophies by using the parts of an old, broken-down car he found.

Often they pretend to do it in movies. And I'm sure a lot of people who have never seen a picture of the person being portrayed in a film associate them with the actor playing the part.

But I don't think Lindsay Lohan has ever had a part portraying someone that important.

It sounds like a movie to me. You may have a nice script going there. And this topic should remind you who not to cast as the leading lady.

Maybe the ditzy blonde, but nothing more than that.
