Well before I can get a decent car I have to be able to drive but when I do a get a car I'd probably want I'd love to have a red ferrari or any decent looking red car just because I think that most red cars look amazing. rev=/search%3Fq%3Dred%2Bferrari%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1366%26bih%3D677%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1" alt="http://www.google.ie/imgres?imgurl=http://motorsportsandmusings.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/FerrariRed.jpg&imgrefurl=http://motorsportsandmusings.com/category/musings/&usg=__fqEhHHNv7jNLqhkqrE1jvoSfffQ=&h=315&w=500&sz=57&hl=en&start=12&sig2=bX7DZtUHRL018eg5brcPBA&zoom=1&tbnid=MEror6Iikhnp3M:&tbnh=82&tbnw=130&ei=IRGzTfnAHc6XhQejtPjiDw&rev=/search%3Fq%3Dred%2Bferrari%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1366%26bih%3D677%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1" />
Just kidding. Though I would add that this is a fully operational prototype.
I'm a big fan of Mazda. I wouldn't mind getting an RX-8, or even an MX-5, or even just a good ol' 6 (if I turn out to be a family man). But their fuel economy isn't that flash and all the gearbox and power delivery changes the boffins in Japan have been making to the RX-8 seem to make it both less efficient and slower. Like huh?
If I were to be really naughty I'd go for an RX-7 FD3S... but their CO2 emissions are prohibitively high because it's rotary.
Besides, in terms of low-volume efficiency, I'd actually go for:
Since I'd rarely ever want to push a car past 180km/h (even on the track), this thing can outpace most supercars in the low end and around corners. While consuming half the fuel. It would also make overtaking on the highways a hell of a lot less scary than it is now!
Look up the Mazda Furai. Awesome from any and every angle. And it drives like a real supercar.
It's so beautiful. But sadly, I must wait until the stupid gas prices go down again.
They never will.
The Middle East political turmoil is not going to end in the forseeable future, there are no other major commercially viable sources of oil, and by the time those issues might be resolved, we'll hopefully have implemented other more efficient forms of energy production by then. If you don't mind a Hummer that runs on hydrogen, then go for it!

How long should it be before issues in Libya are resolved? I want my Hummer!

A hydro-Hummer is still a Hummer. It looks like a Hummer and it can still crush a Smart car like an aluminum can. I don't care if it occasionally spontaneously combusts on me. No car is perfect.

The question you should be asking is, "Will the chain-reaction in the Middle East reach Saudi Arabia?" Because if it does, you can kiss your current Hummer dream goodbye!
I don't have only one dream car because I love a lot of them. In my country, the cars are in big part too simple and ugly but some of them are decent, like some of VW or Honda ones. But I wouldn't mind on getting a car like this:
koenigsegg ccxr is a good choice, it has a bio-ethanol version that's even faster than the original lol.
the new dodge charger is the only revamped hero car I actually like. it oozes bad*** like no other car. but so many people drive the lame stock version D:
I would also consider the newest nissan gtr. if only its kers-like system were properly useful, though...
