ironicly i decided to put this thread on a group that has politics. But that is aside from the point, then again it does include them. I predict, and somewhat anticipate, that this will become a conspiracy theorist thread.I want to know, simply...what is true to you?
That regardless of the rhyme or reason that we are here, despite the fact that we don't know how a lot of things work, and despite the fact that the world is full of ignorance religious types, and just as ignorant atheist types; I really enjoy being alive, and everything that goes along with it.
and also I believe that the US population is responsible for the current economic mess we are in because we can't handle our own finances and like to use our homes for ATM machines whenever we can.

I feel like there's a little ambiguity with the use of the term "true" in the OP. Do you mean "true" as in "true beyond a shadow of a doubt"? Or does something not only have to be true beyond a shadow of a doubt, but also have to be provable from tautologies? Or is it just being personally 100% sure about something (which seems to be indicated by the statement "true to you"?
And then another problem seems to arise - what does it mean to be justified? Can you justify something purely on your own personal experiences? Can you justify something with whatever you want to justify something with? Or do you have to justify something with evidence of some kind, inductive or deductive? Or even just deductive?
To be honest, people shouldn't have a reason not to be open about it.
And is this a thread about things that we believe are true, but that haven't been 100% proven, or is it just about things that actually are true? 'Cus I got the feeling that this thread was what kind of wacky conspiracy theories, doomsday prophecies and wild rumors we believed in.
