Hmmm. I don't really 'like' anyone to the point of love, but if I did, then I would probably tell him how awesome his, and how important he is to me. I wouldn't ask him out. :/

walk around awkwardly, maybe get some food, play some video games, go outside, regret blowing it, spend time in my room thinking about it.

Or if it's someone I'm comfortable with I'm sure it'd be fine.
