There isn't going to be a 720. Maybe a Xbox 360+, but not a 720. The whole point of the 360 name is because you can use all of the sides for something

All I hope is they make this system flawless. And not take the cheap route. Like all of these multi billion dollar gaming company's are doing.

I think the Xbox720 is definitely on the drawing board still and not anywhere near production. I could be wrong!

Of course it isn't near production, we'll know when it is when they announce it. They haven't even said what it will include yet, they just said that it will be existent soon and that it will be deemed the name "Xbox 720." Not very creative seeing as though it's just 2 circles instead of the old 360 with just one circle, I guess it is more creative than calling the new Wii a Wii2, but thy said they'll probably change that name.

I hope for portability.

It would be stupid for either of the two companies to create another system so quickly... FIRST of all, we just now developed 3D movies and games, THEY PLAY ON THE PS3, i dont know about a xbox360 because i dont own one, but the PS3 is compatible so why make another system, The best graphics we have today is a Blu-ray drive, which the PS3 uses, the xbox doesnt but that was their choice. The only reason for the new systems would be to simply sell more, which would be again stupid because they wont sell the next versions after that. Until we develop a new system, there is no point in creating a new system. the PS2 was upgraded when the blu-ray drive came out, and the Xbox360 was created to compete (im not including nintendo bc theyre not in the same league)(and i know xbox fans will trash me, but im not giving opinions im giving facts) Microsoft, would have an advanage putting out the xbox720 if it were more reliable, but then they might as well avoid the hype and just fix the current problems in the xbox360 (easily done with a more efficient fan) Yes it would bring more sales in the short term, but in the long run it would hurt both companies, and im sure their business executives understand this. I know im involving both systems in a specificly xbox720 thread, but they could easily be bundled. The new systems shouldnt be created until another technology is developed, weather it be graphics, internet, or play styles, or something no one is expecting (happens all the time) but until then the PS3 came out for wirelss internet and graphics, just as the xbox did, motion was developed and adapted to both, and so was 3D (again not sure bout xbox there) the next jump is most likely true realism.

It will be nice to get a new X Box. I just hope it doesn't suck and break.

This is probably the coolest picture I've seen of it. So far, I don't think there's an actual design for it (this is just a possible design, not the actual thing)
Things I hope to see:
-Blu-ray player (that hopefully doesn't scratch discs)
-new and improved Live
-Better CPU
-Internal Wi-Fi standard
-quieter operating noise
-internal fans
-compatability with xbox 360 games

Microsoft is just trying to make more money, for them it's all about money. They are probably waiting for next-gen of Sonny play station, so that they can release a slightly better console, and take most of market

That is true. All these multi billion dollar company's care about is money. They don't care if they take the cheap way out of making console's. All they care about is a profit in there pockets. Witch is wrong. But if that is a possible design it does look cool. And it looks buyable.
