could someone please give me link to what software's i need and if they had the time help teach me how to create a simple game and teach me how to manipulate the tools?[b]
I don't know what the link is but I think you make games with Adobe Flash Player. And if you need more help on how making games, go on Programming Help forum and I am sure people will help you out there.
The software is adobe flash professional. It's worth 700$ but you can get a 30 days free trial. You can also make flash games with flashdevelop (free) but it will be even harder. Then you need to learn a programming language, either as2 or as3. They are both very hard but while as3 is more powerful as2 is a little easier (in my opinion). Before anyone rages about how expensive this is, you can earn more than $700 over the years from making flash games. And you can get it for about $200 if your a student such as myself. I know somebody who made $45,000 in 2009 from making top quality flash games. I've only made $25, but I'm a 14 year old kid who has only been using flash for just over 1 year.
So being a flash game developer you can make $45,000 a year? How exactly do you make money doing that anyway? Does the website you upload it to pay you annually?
Well always if you start a game on this site you see the next: First a little thing from armorgames (that with the moving swords), well most sites have that kind of trailers. If you put them in you game you can get money for it if the game is good. Also some games have other ways of making money, like the 'more games' button and more of that stuff.
If you make a good game you can even sell it to a webpage for a load of money.
i use flash professional cs5 and to do such you do need to learn some form of actionscript. there are actionscript tutorials all over the web its how i learned and i am now quite fluent in as2.0
