To prohibit someone from doing something.

EX: banning someone from using their account for a day.

I like a lot of colors, I can't choose between them all. But some of my favorite ones are blue, green, red, purple, black, white, gold, silver and pink.

When an AG user is banned, they lose access to their account for a limited amount of time. When someone is permabanned, that person's account is banned indefinitely.
