I've been playing on armorgames.com for several months without any problems. Suddenly yesterday, the game I was playing quit working. The screen went white when I loaded it. While troubleshooting, I noticed ALL the armor games quit working. I get a white screen. Nothing more. The odd thing is flash works fine at all the other game sites. It is only armorgames and it is for ALL the games. This leads me to believe it must be some piece of code or configuration unique to armorgames that is inserted into each games such as perhpas the advertisement piece? Just guessing though.
I have cleared the cache several times and unisnstalled and reinstalled the latest version of flash from adobe.
I am using Internet Explorer 7.0 however Firefox has the same issue. Is there something uniue about the way armorgames is configured or is using flash?
I've noticed several people with this same problem on the boards however no solution has been posted so I thought I'd post it again in hopes of getting some more attention on this issue. Thanks!
I don't believe I have an AV installed. If it would help in troubleshooting, I'd be happy to install it though. What AV would you suggest?
One other interesting thing to note. In Firefox, if I right click the flash window, it says "Movie not loaded..." I'll try accessing the site via a different ISP in the meantime to see if perhpas a routing issue or my employers firewall rules may have changed...
Well...I started my laptop on a wireless card instead of on the corporate network and it started up. LOL!! It seems that the network guys have added the armorgames site to their firewall blocking sites... LOL!! Well at least the mystery has been solved for this one. (Actually I think it is the advertisement sites they've blocked. Armorgames.com still loads fine)
