Hello-
I have been saving my money for quite some time now to buy an iPod Touch. I see on Apple's website the Ipod Touch 3G 8GB is only 149.00$
Now my question is, can a 3rd generation iTouch run all the same games as an iPod Touch 4g?

It can run most of the same games but if any of them rely on the camera found in Gen 4 iPod touch and later then it won't be able to play them.

I'd save.

Get at least a 32gig if you're ever buying an itouch.

Yup later when Ipod touch 5th gen comes out im gunna buy the 4th gen for 32 gigs

The 5th gen wont come out for a while. Apple is focusing on software now.

I'm getting a 8GB 4th genereation Ipod Touch, this month. Ipod's sound quality is superb, it will go well with my new Sennheiser headphones (:

It depends, some apps will work, but others were made later and may not be compatible with earlier versions of the iPod. If you already know which ones you want to buy, you should probably look at them before you buy the iPod and check compatibility.
