I found one.I don't work for Sporting News.I do care for every pick because when the next Tom Brady comes I can say I remember him.Its actually interesting remembering the players from college.
I don't think we'll see a next Tom Brady. Donald Driver was a lot like Tom Brady, a late pick (7th round I think), and now one of the most respected WR's in the league.
Thats cool! Got any prediction on who will be the next Tom Brady this year?
It is cool. Its only the fourth round so no but if I had to chose it would be Ryan Mallett.I think he'll beat out Tom Brady just like Tom Brasy beat out Drew Bledsoe.
Ryan Mallet? Just because he got drafted to the PAts doesn't mean hell be any good. He may be another Matt Flynn, a good back-up that has starters talent. But I don't expect him to be anywhere near Tom Brady talent, but the hair is within reach.
I would like to see Mark Ingram have a successful career, I don't know why, but I just do.
I didn't mean just because the Pats drafted him.I think he's a good QB.At least people have heard of him unlike Brady.I'm sure people thought that Tom Brady wasn't Drew Bledsoe talent.
I think draft time is more enjoyable than the actual NFL season. I felt like the first half of the first round was a joke. The only good picks, really, were Houston taking JJ Watt, the Broncos taking Von Miller, and the Bills taking Dareus. Carolina had really no choice but to take Cam Newton because of depth problems at Quarterback, but I don't think he's going to be a good player in the NFL because his play style isn't really fit for an NFL offense. Maybe if he learns how to stay in the pocket and make the occasional run then he'll be great. But right now he's just another Jamarcus Russell kind of player.
I'm a fan of the Panthers, I'm pretty sure they picked Cam Newton so no one else could have him.
They picked Cam because everyone said they would. It was a terrible pick, almost all scrambling QBs with his skill set are terrible, Ex: Travaris Jackson.

My thoughts exactly. Also, look at some of the Heisman winners in the past: Carson Palmer: That's kinda the Bengals fault but he was really inconsistent for the most part Matt Leinart: High hopes, but couldn't do the job in Arizona, now third string for the Texans' star studded offense Reggie Bush: Although he had to give it back, he's considered a Heisman winner. He's doing awful in the NFL. He may be the most overrated player in the past decade, next to Eli Manning Troy Smith: For the few starts he made, he was kinda below average Tim Tebow: Things might change, but last season he was ok. He was kinda thrown into the offense and told to play Why did I bring this up? Almost all of these players were expected to be great, but they're leaning on the "bust" side of the spectrum. And I feel Cam Newton is going to fall into this category.
Also, there's one flaw of the draft. If you have an entire fan base and the stupid people they call "NFL Analysts" both saying that Cam Newton is going to be the first overall pick, then it'll happen.

Ted Thompson is one of the smartest drafters in football and he called them jokes.
Reggie Bush was overrated because he had a decent rookie year.
Troy Smith: For the few starts he made, he was kinda below average
Where is Troy now? I know he's second string, but where?
The thing is, that with all these Heismen winners, they're all thrown into the system with only a few weeks to prepare. They don't know much about that team by the time they get in, and with so much pressure, they can't do anything productive. Which is why teams are looking for people like Matt Flynn, people who have stayed behind a franchise QB for a few years and are looking to get out.

But I think that the ones that succeed are the ones who make a lot of use out of those few weeks of preparation. The ones that only focus on football. I don't know if Cam Newton is willing to be that kind of rookie player that Sam Bradford was.
