This April was one of the worst in recorded history. The last I herd, the number of tornados was double for last years April. It is probably triple after Wednesday's "super outbreak" that killed over 300 people. I'm interested in hearing others' comments and opinions.
I live in Pennsylvania, and there was a tornado that touched down about 30 minutes from where I live. In freakin' PA. I don't know how that's possible with the amount of hills and mountains that exist out here. My sympathy goes out to those who were killed, injured, or lost their homes in these tornadoes. This month has just been cruel to the people of the south. Hopefully, this is all finished for a while.

Actually tornados can and have formed in every single state in the US. The terrain plays more of a role in how far the tornado can travel and how long it can stay formed, but any time you have colliding hot and cold weather systems with enough variance in pressures then a tornado can form.
As someone living in Birmingham, let me tell you it was awful. Trees torn up by the roots, no power, roads closed, traffic to a literal standstill. And people just dying left and right.
We got like 6 in Wisconsin in just one storm. Ripped up half a town. It was really surprising since we usually get 6 tornadoes a year not just one night.
you know where i live is a big tornadoe area and its tornadoe season right now and earth quake happens here alot to... but we had TONS of storms for like a week straight and had over 200 tornadoes
