for those of you who are die hard DT fans like me, you will probably know that they picked their new drummer this morning

i called it from the beggining that it would be mike mangini (got 30 bucks coming my way XP). and im so happy for him. when you watch the official video he just sounds so overwhelmed with emotion. it just brings a smile to your face.

There are lots of drummer as good as him (some even better), Mangini is one of them.

I didnt know they were getting a new drummer! just
thought that Portnoy was touring with A7X for a year.
Well their new drummer is definetly very good!

ya mike portnoy quit dream theater shortly before he started the tour. he wanted to do a little dream theater hiatus, take a little break from there 25 year record and tour binge. but unfortunatly the band didnt want to stop that and they wanted to keep on rolling. so he quit.

and now with there new drummer, who by the way they chose in october/november'ish, theyll finish recording their new stuff and go on a full world tour
